Terms and Conditions relating to our Products and Service

We at Proper Job Pop Ups aim to provide the best service possible to our customers. Therefore, we have set out the terms and conditions applicable to our on-line ordering service and ask that you take the trouble to read through them.

1. Customer Privacy
We are aware of concerns regarding the privacy and confidentiality of personal information.  We have taken appropriate measures to protect and safeguard this information and to help maintain data security. Please see our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information below:-
When asked to generate an on-line account with Proper Job Pop Ups you need to create a unique login for use on our website. In doing so you are required to provide the following information: your name, your address, a contact phone number and an email address. Any personal information submitted to the Proper Job Pop Ups website is encrypted and stored on a secure server and is considered and treated as private information as defined by the Data Protection Act. As such, this information is not subject to being accessed, shared, rented or sold to any third party. However, the collected and stored customer contact information is required to send orders out and may be used by Proper Job Pop Ups to keep you updated on the progress of your order/s when necessary.

If you are registered with Proper Job Pop Ups, all information regarding your online account is protected by the password that you have chosen. Access to your online account requires your email address and password. We recommend you do not disclose your password to anyone, because, ultimately, you are responsible for the confidentiality of this information. You can have access to your individual file information at any time to check the accuracy of the information and have it rectified as appropriate by contacting use through one of the means hereafter described.

Customers may opt-out of our mailing list by clicking on the appropriate box whilst creating your account or have their personal information removed from the site by contacting the site administrator at the following address: kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk
  and requesting to be removed from the mailing list and or the site. All requests will be honoured and respected.

PLEASE NOTE:
Should you wish to place an order subsequent to requesting that your personal details are removed from our website you will need to re-submit your details to create a unique and secure login.

2. Financial Information
Proper Job Pop Ups do not store any financial information relating to customer credit or debit card details.

3. Complaints Policy
We always do our best to resolve any complaints quickly and in a fair and reasonable manner. If you have any questions or complaints with regard to an existing order or product you have purchased from us, please contact the site administrator at the following address kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk
  giving full details of any reason as to why you are dissatisfied. We will attempt to respond to your questions or complaints as a matter of urgency (normally within 24 hours).


4.  Damaged, Lost or Stolen Goods
In the unlikely event of your goods being damaged in transit, please contact the site administrator at the following address kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk
 giving full details of the damage to the goods. We will attempt to respond to the matter as a matter of urgency (normally within 24 hours). If we consider your claim to be reasonable, we will replace the damaged goods at our expense.

PLEASE NOTE: If Proper Job Pop Ups consider your claim to be of a suspicious nature we may ask you to return the damaged goods to us at your expense so that we may investigate the matter more thoroughly prior to issuing any replacement of goods. If it is then found that your claim is valid, we will not only replace the goods but will send you an additional tub of pop-ups (your choice from the full range) to recompense for any out of pocket expenses incurred.
 

If the goods you have ordered have not arrived after one week of your received notification of their dispatch, please contact the site administrator at the following address: kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk giving as much information as you understand concerning the situation of potentially lost goods. We will investigate any claim of goods possibly lost in transit thoroughly and if the loss is valid we will refund your payment in full (see “NOTES” below).
NOTES

1/All orders with a value of less than £30.00p excluding P & P are NOT sent using a traceable service to keep the postage cost to an absolute minimum.


2/Prior to reporting your order as missing, I will request that you carry out the following checks: In 99.9% of cases of missing orders, the Royal Mail have attempted delivery, but no one was at the delivery address to except it (the package will not fit through standard letter boxes) so it will be taken back to the local sorting office awaiting collection by the addressee. If this is the case, then the Royal Mail should leave a note stating this! Unfortunately, the Royal Mail doesn’t always leave a note of attempted delivery, so the addressee will have to check at their local sorting office in person (the addressee must take some identification (name address) with them when visiting the sorting office) to check if the missing package is awaiting collection.


3/Prior to “Proper Job Pop Ups” issuing a full refund the customer must wait and confirm the following via email to
kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk after the stated waiting time has elapsed: The addressee must wait 21 days from the time of purchase to see if the missing order arrives. Confirm that the delivery address that they gave at the time of ordering is 100% correct. Confirm that they have checked with their local Royal Mails sorting office to check if the missing package is awaiting collection. Once these conditions have been fully met and confirmed via email and the package has not been found, Proper Job Pop Ups will issue a full refund.

4/If you should make a request for the Royal Mail to leave your package anywhere other than a secure place (e.g. if no one is home please leave package behind flower pot adjacent to front door) you do so at your own risk and no claim for lost goods will be entertained by us if this is found to be the case.


5.  Packaging Errors
All orders are handpicked and then packaged by hand and errors may sometimes occur. If you receive goods which do not match those submitted in an order, please contact the site administrator at the following address kevin@properjobpopups.co.uk
 informing us of the error and we will replace your goods with the goods matching your original order at our expense. You have up to 10 days after the date of dispatch to inform us of any discrepancies with your order, any claims made after this time will not be entertained.

PLEASE NOTE: We may ask you to return the original (incorrectly packed) goods to us at your expense, so we may properly investigate the mistake prior to our issuing the replacement. If this is the case and it is found that Proper Job Pop Ups is responsible for the error then in addition to the replacement of any incorrectly packaged goods you will also be sent a free tub of pop-ups (your choice from the full range) to recompense for any out of pocket expenses incurred.
 

6.  Cancellation Policy
If you have ordered goods by mistake and you wish to cancel all or part of your order you may be able to do so providing you notify Proper Job Pop Ups by email no later than 9am on the day your goods are due for dispatch. Notifications received after that time may not be dealt with as the goods are likely to have already been dispatched and the control of the delivery will be out of our hands. Please refer to the item 7. Returns Policy below for details on how to return your goods.

PLEASE NOTE: In our efforts to dispatch goods to our customers as soon as possible we sometimes dispatch goods ordered after 9am on the same day the order was placed. Under these circumstances it will not be possible to cancel an order via email and customers wishing to return goods ordered in error will have to follow the Returns Policy below.

7. Returns Policy
If goods are ordered from Proper Job Pop Ups in error and you wish to cancel all or part of your order but have been unable to notify us prior to the goods being dispatched you will need to return the unwanted goods to us for a refund by following the conditions stipulated in the Returns Policy stated below.
The customer must pay for return postage costs. The goods must arrive back at Proper Job Pop Ups in good condition, showing no signs of tampering or damage. Providing Proper Job Pop Ups are satisfied that the aforementioned condition is met, a full refund minus the original postage & packing charge will be issued to the customer. The refund will be issued by the same means originally used by the customer to pay for the goods (i.e. if originally paid for via Pay Pal the refund will be made via Pay Pal. If goods were paid for by cash then a cheque will be made out to the person(s) who originally placed the order – no cash is mailed to customers by Proper Job Pop Ups).

8. Resale
Under no circumstances may goods purchased from Proper Job Pop Ups be used for resale without written consent.

9. UK & International Shipping
Details of our shipping methods and costs can be found by selecting UK & International Shipping section from the menu.

10. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:

Bank Transfer
Postal/Money Orders (UK only)
Cash (UK only) (Any cash payment must be sent by registered post. You must obtain proof of delivery for your records)

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed by customers outside the United Kingdom can only be paid for via Pay Pal or Bank Transfer. All fees incurred for the arrangement of a bank transfer must be paid for by the customer, this includes the cost of international postage, and bank charges (including currency conversion to GBP).

We would like remind all European/Rest of the World Customers (outside the UK) to the following Conditions of Sale prior to completing your purchase.
1. Please ensure you have read and are familiar with our Terms & Shipping Rates.
2. You have added the correct additional postage fee to the value of your order.
3. You are prepared to pay all Bank Charges including currency conversion to GBP
Note: If any or all of the above Conditions of Sale are not fully met your order will not ship.

11. Order Processing:
We do not take orders or payment over the phone.
Due to the necessary involvement of international carriage charges and other expenses we only accept payment for International Orders via Pay Pal or Bank Transfer.
PLEASE NOTE: We only accept orders by Bank Transfer providing the Customer pays for all Bank Charges incurred as well as the Additional Postage costs. Prior to placing an order we advise that International Customers read the information displayed on the UK & International Shipping page on our website (which can be found in the menu) so as to familiarise themselves with the additional carriage charge and payment methods involved.
