Due to the popularity of tipping off food baits I have released a new range of mini barrel shaped (size 11mm long x 7-8mm diameter) pop ups and because of their incredible buoyancy they make ideal tips for 14/15/16mm bottom baits as they sit directly on top of the food bait, offering the carp a 360 degree view of the Tip.
This new range also has multiple other uses such as:

1/ Floater fishing when fished alongside small floating trout pellets (for those occasions when the carp are feeling particularly picky and will only take the small free offerings).

2/ Fished in a P.V.A. bag along with a selection small food items (pellets/crumb etc).

3/ Fished as a single over say hemp and corn.

4/ Presented as a cocktail where two different colours/flavours can be mixed or matched (as a double bait).

The “Tips” in Use

Caution!

Due to the very small size of these pop ups and their longevity/durability (they should remain in a firm state for at least 48 hours) I had to make the pop ups using a slightly harder mix than I would of liked. The down side to using a harder mix is: The pop ups Will Not tolerate being pierced with a large/heavy duty round profile baiting needle as they will split.
I strongly recommend that one uses a slim Braided Hair Needle such as the Korda Braided Hair Needle (the one with the Yellow Handle) or a flat profiled baiting needle such as the Korda Fine Latch Needle (the one with the Purple Handle). Or alternatively one can use a fine drill to drill a small hole though the tip to avoid splitting.
